Guava Leaf Tea — A Traditional Botanical for the Modern Tea Ritual
Discover the naturally distinctive character of Guava Leaf Tea (Psidium guajava) from Krittiya Garden, crafted from carefully selected guava leaves into a convenient herbal infusion for everyday enjoyment.
Guava is a tropical plant widely recognised for its fruit, but its leaves also have a long history of traditional use in different parts of Asia and other tropical regions. Guava leaves have traditionally been prepared as herbal infusions and decoctions, while modern scientific research continues to explore the naturally occurring botanical compounds found within the leaves.
At Krittiya Garden, we bring this traditional botanical into modern life through careful ingredient selection, clean processing and convenient individual tea bags.
What Does Guava Leaf Tea Taste Like?
Guava Leaf Tea offers a distinctive herbaceous, earthy and gently astringent flavour.
Unlike conventional black or green tea, it is naturally caffeine-free and has its own botanical character derived entirely from guava leaves.
Enjoy it warm for a comforting herbal tea ritual or serve chilled over ice for a refreshing botanical drink.
A Botanical with a Long Tradition
The leaves of Psidium guajava have a history of traditional use across several cultures and have attracted scientific interest because of their naturally occurring plant compounds, including various phenolic and flavonoid compounds.
At Krittiya Garden, however, we believe botanical tradition should be communicated responsibly.
Our Guava Leaf Tea is offered as a herbal beverage, not as a medicine or treatment for disease.

Therefore, this tea should not be promoted as a treatment for diarrhoea.

Follow the directions on the product packaging and seek professional advice if you intend to consume it regularly for a specific health purpose. A recent review also notes that questions remain regarding safety in different populations and appropriate dosage.
