Description
Soursop (also called graviola, guyabano, and in Hispanic America, guanábana) is the fruit of Annona muricata, a broadleaf, flowering, evergreen tree. The exact origin is unknown; it is native to the tropical regions of the Americas and the Caribbean and is widely propagated. It is in the same genus, Annona, as cherimoya and is in the Annonaceae family.
The soursop is adapted to areas of high humidity and relatively warm winters; temperatures below 5 °C (41 °F) will cause damage to leaves and small branches, and temperatures below 3 °C (37 °F) can be fatal.

If you want soursop leaves, its a score. I just don’t like the taste or notice benefits

So I think these are pretty good. There really is a lot of leaves here. Probably more than you will use, if you are like me. They don’t keep indefinitely, even if you keep them in the sealed bag. It looks like I am going to throw out about 2/3 in part because they seem to be withering and looking bad. The tea itself taste kind of bad in my opinion. But I am generally not a fan of tea. And it is pretty easy to add other flavors to the water to adjust that. I was also impressed just how much browning of the water these can pull if you leave them in the hot water a while. I can’t report any health benefits or noticeable improvements to anything from drinking it. But that is a difficult thing with products like this on a short run. If you are looking for soursop leaves specifically to make tea with. I think this is a great find. But I just don’t think its proven to do much or that I like the taste.

Very unique flavor, huge bag of soursop leaves!
Vine Customer Review of Free Product
My daughter is a huge tea drinker, so she was very excited for us to try this. I have never heard of or consumed soursop leaves prior to this. They have a very earthy flavor and odor to them. So definitely something to keep in mind if that’s not your cup of tea (pun intended). The tea is easy to make, you boil 3 cups of water and 4 leaves. This bag is massive – so 4 leaves at a time doesn’t even make a dent in it. The leaves are dried but seem very fresh. They are all intact and the bag is made of a material that doesn’t allow the flavor or scent to leak out. Soursop apparently has some health benefits, I have not noticed anything immediately. My daughter said it seems to relax her after she drinks it. Overall, if you like tea and enjoy trying new things, I definitely recommend these leaves. I think they provide an excellent value for the money.
